Leaf Skeletons 2017 - ongoing

Leaves from the lemon tree that shades and nourishes our home fall to the ground to be worked upon by time and the elements. Then they reveal their underlying structures, even as some flesh remains. Painstakingly rinsed, dried, photographed, and scanned, they carry such stories and beauty  - even as they transition to something else.
