Kim Campisano
Artist & Educator
Kimberley Campisano is a visual artist and educator working in photography, interdisciplinary media, and installation. Through her art and teaching she explores the roles of memory, time, and transitions using the metaphors of nature, language, and family.
Her work has been exhibited extensively in the Bay Area and beyond, as well as in collaboration with performing artists. She has shown the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts, Gray Loft Gallery, Metal Haus Gallery, the Museo Italo Americano and SOMArts, and others.
Kimberley received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University and her Master of Fine Arts from John F Kennedy University (RIP).
She lives in Oakland, CA and is a recent Artist in Residence at Kala Art Institute and an active member of the East Bay Photo Collective.
